Author's note

Blown Droid font by Phillip Andrade is a free eroded display typeface that looks like chunky, rubbery letters blasted full of pockmarks and craters. The bold black shapes feel hand-cut and unstable, as if they’re vibrating on the page, giving every word a rough, sci‑fi‑meets-grunge energy that’s impossible to ignore. Up close, the speckled voids and uneven contours add a tactile, almost melted quality that keeps text loud but still readable at larger sizes.

Using Blown Droid font, you can push titles and logos for game interfaces, horror or sci‑fi posters, streetwear branding, gig flyers, album covers, and YouTube thumbnails. This free font shines when it’s big and bold, while supporting text can sit in a clean geometric sans from the Blown Droid family or your system fonts for contrast and clarity.
