Author's note

Brocaine Decade font by R.Gast of GreyWolf WebWorks (formerly DarkSide Productions) is a free distorted display typeface that looks like it’s been chewed up by static and torn metal. Each letter bristles with jagged, irregular spikes, giving text a harsh, abrasive edge that almost vibrates on the screen. The dense black forms stay surprisingly legible at larger sizes, making your titles feel loud, grimy, and a little unhinged.

This free font shines on horror posters, metal or punk band logos, haunted house flyers, edgy game titles, zine covers, and Halloween merch. Using Brocaine Decade in bold, oversized headlines with slightly loose spacing lets the spiky silhouettes breathe. For supporting text, pair it with a clean, neutral sans serif so the chaos stays where it belongs—right in the lettering.
