Broken Type, a free eroded display font from Galdino Otten, leans into a distressed, cracked-ink look with a fast italic slant. The letters feel split and weathered all the way through, as if the strokes have been chipped by age, giving the font a rough, restless energy rather than a clean retro polish.
It fits posters, album sleeves, horror titles, skate graphics, and event flyers where that fractured texture can do some of the talking. As a free font, it also works well for short headlines, cover lines, and title cards, especially when you want the lettering to feel worn, urgent, and slightly unstable.
