Burton by Digital Type Foundry is a free floral initials font built around slender Roman capitals and dense curling foliage. The ornament has a hand-cut, storybook quality.
Botanical and medieval themes make it especially apt for book covers, invitations, and heritage packaging, where each letter can function as an illustrated emblem. Its twining leaves and small blossoms also suit fantasy publishing and historical events, linking the text to illuminated manuscripts and carved decorative borders.
