Author's note

Caffeine font is a free distorted display typeface that looks like it was scrawled in a jittery rush after one espresso too many. Its thick, inky strokes wobble and bulge, creating a hand-drawn, slightly chaotic texture that feels raw and energetic rather than polished. Letters don’t sit politely; they sway and lean, giving headlines a buzzing, restless motion that grabs attention instantly.

Using Caffeine, this free font, you can inject nervous energy into gig posters, zines, horror titles, edgy café branding, YouTube thumbnails, indie game logos, and Halloween flyers. It works best large, where the irregular contours and inky blobs can really breathe. For balance, pair it with a clean geometric sans in small text to keep layouts readable while Caffeine does the loud, unruly storytelling up top.
