Calamity Jane NF Bold by Nick Curtis is a free retro display font with a frontier-era, wood-type feel. The letters mix hefty, blunt forms with a few lively curls, especially in the big looping C and the rounded lowercase shapes, so the font feels part saloon sign, part old paperback headline.
It sits naturally on western posters, vintage product labels, diner menus, book covers, and title cards where a free font needs some period flavor without turning fussy.
