Chalk Merged Font

Chalk Merged is a free chalk-grunge font with the rubbed, broken texture of letters dragged across a dusty board and partly wiped away. The rough edges and missing patches keep it loose and handmade, while the simple schoolroom shapes stop the distressed look from turning fussy.

It fits zine covers, cafe boards, poster headlines, craft packaging, and classroom-themed branding where a free font needs a scrappy, written-by-hand feel rather than neat nostalgia. Use it for short titles, cover lines, or bold pull quotes, because the grainy gaps in the letters do most of the talking.
