Author's note

Chalkboard is a free handwritten font with tall, loosely drawn letters and a distinctly scratchy edge. Stroke widths shift abruptly, as if the writing were made with a worn piece of chalk. The uneven joins keep it lively.

Classroom themes are an obvious fit, but the lettering also suits cafe menus, event posters, and casual packaging. Its broken contours and quick angular marks can become part of a chalk-drawn scene, especially alongside doodles, arrows, or simple food illustrations.
