Childer Font

Childer from Rantautype Studio is a free cartoon display font with tall, narrow, loosely drawn letters, soft swollen curves, and an amiable wobble. Rounded strokes change width from one character to the next, and uneven heights give the alphabet a lively, homemade silhouette that stays easy to recognise.

Children's book covers are a natural home for its cheerful mischief. The stretched proportions and lopsided curves also suit snack packaging, party posters, and game title cards, where the words can become part of a cut-paper illustration rather than sit as neutral type.
