Author's note

Cobleigh Titling Caps font by Weatherly Systems is a free gothic celtic typeface that turns every letter into a miniature illuminated panel. Heavy black forms press against the edges of their rectangles, while tangled vines, curling foliage, and mythical creatures carve bright channels of white through the texture. It feels like something pulled from a weathered manuscript or a carved stone lintel, full of drama and dense ornament.

Using Cobleigh Titling Caps, you get instant medieval atmosphere for fantasy book covers, game logos, brewery or mead labels, renaissance fair posters, tarot or occult merch, and ornate chapter initials. This free font works best at large sizes where the intricate linework can really breathe; pair it with a clean sans serif or quiet book serif to keep long text readable and let the titling caps do the storytelling.
