Author's note

Comicate font is a free eroded display font with chunky, hand-drawn letters that feel like marker outlines filled in with a lively wobble. The rough bites and uneven rhythm give it the scrappy energy of comic panels and doodled sound effects, so even a short word lands with a grin.

Using Comicate works beautifully for comic covers, kids’ party invites, sticker packs, YouTube thumbnails, classroom posters, playful merch, and indie game titles. Keep it fairly large so the textured edges stay crisp, and pair this free font with a clean sans serif when you need supporting text that doesn’t steal the joke.
