Author's note

Comic Book font by Neale Davidson is a free comic display font with the punchy, hand-inked energy of vintage panels and speech bubbles. Its chunky strokes, bouncy rhythm, and slightly uneven shapes give every word a lively snap, so headlines feel animated instead of stiff.

Using Comic Book works beautifully for comic covers, kids’ posters, YouTube thumbnails, event flyers, playful branding, sticker designs, and merch with a bold cartoon twist. This free font reads best at larger sizes, and it pairs nicely with a clean sans serif when you want the title to do all the shouting.

Comic Book is one of my first 'scan and build' fonts, but I don't remember which comic book page I used as the source.

Includes full alphabet, extended punctuation, and the Euro sign. Includes bold, italic, and bold-italic versions.
