Comma Write, designed by Ffeeaarr, is a free handwritten display font with tall, wavering capitals and a deliberately unsteady outline. Rounded letters look loosely drawn, and the sharp peaks and long diagonals give the writing a nervous, scratchy motion.
Its rough contours can echo hand-drawn creatures and offbeat illustrations in children's publishing or game graphics. The lettering also suits music posters built around a raw homemade aesthetic. For event flyers and independent magazine covers, it can become part of the artwork itself, like a hurried label traced directly onto the image.
