Author's note

Console font by Mark Zanzig is a free eroded display typeface that feels like it’s been scratched out on a flickering screen. Its letters look melted and warped, with uneven, inky edges that give every word a nervous, buzzing energy. There’s a sense of decay baked into the shapes, as if they’ve survived static, smoke, and a power surge or two.

Using Console, your titles instantly slip into horror, glitch, or thriller territory without extra effects. This free font works beautifully for game logos, horror movie posters, escape room branding, dark album covers, Halloween flyers, and eerie book titles. Keep Console big and bold for maximum impact, and pair it with a clean geometric sans for body text so the chaos stays in the headline where it belongs.
