Author's note

Crookiid Veredgf font is a free eroded typeface that looks like it’s been scraped off a concrete wall. The chunky Crookiid family letterforms are chewed up with irregular gaps, splatters, and rough edges, giving every word a raw, distressed punch. It feels loud, gritty, and a little unhinged-like band stickers layered on a city lamppost after a storm.

Using Crookiid Veredgf, your titles instantly carry that worn-in, underground energy that polished fonts can’t fake. This free font works beautifully for horror and thriller covers, gig posters, grunge or metal album art, urban festival branding, game titles, and bold YouTube thumbnails. Set it large to let the texture breathe, and pair it with a clean, narrow sans serif for supporting text to keep your layouts readable but still rebellious.
