Author's note

DavysNewOther font by David Rakowski is a free dingbats font, a grab-bag typeface of inky symbols that feel hand-cut and a little mischievous. You get everything from a grand piano silhouette and a striped tile to a sleepy crescent moon, a punchy sound-wave badge, and curling flourishes that read like instant mood.

Using DavysNewOther, drop these marks into music flyers, album art, zines, editorial spot art, quirky logos, packaging seals, and social graphics where a single bold icon has to carry the vibe. Keep it on the larger side so the chunky blacks stay crisp, and pair it with a calm sans like Inter or Helvetica to let this free font do the talking.
