Author's note

Dayton by FontBank, Inc. is a free geometric display font built from stark circles, wedges, and slab-like verticals. Its letters shift sharply between broad solid masses and hairline divisions, producing a cut-paper silhouette with a cool, machine-made edge. The repeated circular forms keep it cohesive.

Fashion branding and electronic music posters draw on different scenes, but Dayton suits both through its severe contrast and emblem-like construction. Its split shapes can become part of the graphic concept on album covers and event signage, where the lettering can echo discs, arrows, and simplified interface symbols.
