Author's note

deFaced font by Stanley Roland Frantz is a free scary display font. Its letters look scraped, frayed, and half-erased, with ragged edges and a jittery, photocopied grime that makes every word feel uneasy.

Using deFaced works beautifully for horror posters, Halloween flyers, haunted-house signage, punk album art, zines, thriller title cards, and eerie game graphics. Keep it large so the shredded texture stays sharp, and pair this free font with a plain sans for body copy.
