Author's note

Densmore font by Ray Larabie of Larabiefonts is a free geometric decorative typeface that turns every word into a bold, modular pattern. Chunky circular forms lock into tall rectangular stems, creating a rhythmic “on/off” feel that’s part retro synth, part arcade cabinet. The tight spacing and solid black shapes give it a dense, inky texture, while the occasional open stroke adds just enough air to keep it readable at large sizes.

This free font shines on music posters, album covers, club flyers, fashion branding, game titles, and futuristic logos where you want letters to feel like graphic icons. Using Densmore at oversized headline scales and pairing it with a clean grotesque or neo-grotesque for small text keeps layouts striking but grounded.
