Author's note

Desesperado by Woodcutter Manero is a free Mexican western caps font with the rough swagger of old cantina signs and pulp frontier posters. The letters feel carved and weather-beaten, with chunky silhouettes, wavering outlines, and a bold inner contour that gives the whole font a dusty, layered echo.

It makes sense on tequila labels, mariachi or rodeo posters, food truck branding, festival flyers, and title cards that want a border-town mood rather than a polished studio finish. As a free font, it also suits short headlines, monograms, and cover lines, because those heavy, irregular caps carry plenty of character before you set very many letters.
