Author's note

Devotion and Desire - Bayside font by M. Tyndall s a free distorted decorative serif typeface that looks like it’s been dragged through brambles and sea spray. The refined, bookish skeleton of the letters is wrapped in scratchy, thorn-like texture, giving every word a restless, romantic tension. It feels both damaged and delicate, like ink etched into weathered paper.

This free font thrives when you want drama with a touch of elegance-think band logos, dark romance book covers, gothic posters, tattoo flash sheets, alternative fashion branding, or moody event flyers. Using Devotion and Desire - Bayside large lets the intricate edges and grainy curves really show; pair it with a clean sans from the Devotion and Desire family or a neutral grotesque for body text to keep your layouts legible and striking.
