Author's note
Die Nasty font by Ray Larabie is a free retro display font. Its thick, squared shapes are carved with sharp diagonal cuts that make every word feel fast, loud, and a little dangerous—like an old arcade marquee or a late-night VHS title card, but cleaner and more controlled.
Using Die Nasty works beautifully for album covers, streetwear graphics, game titles, event flyers, logos, YouTube thumbnails, and throwback packaging where you want instant attitude without adding grit or clutter. This free font hits hardest at larger sizes; pair it with a plain sans like Inter or Helvetica so its jagged rhythm stays front and center.
