Author's note

Dos Equis, designed by Nick Curtis, is a free Art Deco display font built from dramatic shifts between broad curves and precise hairline strokes, plus recurring sharply clipped corners and open breaks. The overall silhouette is sleek, unmistakably machine-age, and slightly theatrical.

Stepped borders, sunburst patterns, and streamlined architectural illustration can echo its sharp geometry, making the lettering a natural fit for theater posters and fashion-event invitations. For cocktail-bar branding and vintage beverage packaging, it can shape the product identity as an Art Deco badge rather than ordinary lettering.
