Author's note

EAS VHS by Lastnames is a free VHS-era bitmap font with chunky pixel steps and the blunt, blocky rhythm of old on-screen titling. The caps feel stripped down and slightly awkward in a good way, with tall verticals, square corners, and a low-resolution snap that keeps the letters raw rather than slick.

This free font fits poster titles, retro game menus, mixtape covers, zine headers, and title cards where you want that broadcast-tape, cathode-screen mood to do the talking. It also works for short branding, monograms, and loud cover lines, because the letters read like they were lifted straight from a paused VHS overlay.
