Author's note

Egypt0, Jim Loy's free ancient Egyptian dingbats font from 1996, gathers simple hieroglyph-like figures into a spare, hand-drawn set. Birds, a kneeling human form, and reed-like marks repeat the same thick outline and carved-sign feeling, so the collection reads less like ornament and more like fragments of an inscription.

This free font fits poster borders, museum flyers, classroom handouts, book covers, and themed event graphics where a few emblematic marks can carry the mood quickly. It also works for chapter openers and title cards, because the symbols are bold, isolated, and easy to place as short accents rather than continuous text.
