Excess V by Chequered Ink is a free techno display font with a hard-edged, engineered attitude. The caps feel cut from solid blocks, with sharp wedge notches and long horizontal slices that make the letters look fast, modular, and a little severe.
It fits poster titles, sci-fi branding, game logos, event flyers, and cover lines where a free font needs a stark futuristic signal without drifting into novelty. Use it for short headers, title cards, or monograms, because those deep diagonal cuts and stripped-back bars give even a few letters a charged, mechanical rhythm.
