Author's note

Fenómeno Vintage font by Woodcutter Manero is a free comic display typeface with a wonderfully wobbly, hand-cut soul. Its chunky, uneven letters look like they’ve been snipped from inky paper and pasted into place, with playful gaps and bold black shapes that feel both retro and a little mischievous. The rhythm is loose and bouncy, so every word looks like it’s in motion, shouting across the page rather than sitting politely on it.

Using Fenómeno Vintage, you get instant throwback energy for posters, comic titles, zines, party invites, YouTube thumbnails, stickers, and bold branding for quirky shops or food trucks. This free font shines when you set it big and loud; pair it with a clean, narrow sans serif in smaller text to keep things readable while letting its blobby curves and cut-out personality steal the spotlight.
