Author's note

Flashit font by Jakob Fischer is a free brush script typeface that feels like it was slapped onto the page with a loaded marker. Thick, inky strokes twist and kick out at odd angles, giving each word a raw, fast-motion energy. The letters stay surprisingly legible, with generous spacing that keeps all that wild movement from turning into a blur.

Using Flashit, your text looks like it’s shouting from a fresh poster wall—great for gig flyers, streetwear branding, zines, YouTube thumbnails, book covers, and edgy product packaging. This free font shines at larger sizes where the rough edges and swooping curves can really breathe; pair it with a clean, narrow sans serif for small body copy to let the bold brushwork take center stage.
