Author's note

Flintstone font by Peter S. Bryant is a free comic display typeface that looks like it’s been hacked straight out of a slab of rock. The tall, jagged letters lean and wobble with a hand-cut energy, giving every word a chunky, prehistoric bounce. Angles are sharp, spacing is lively, and the solid black shapes feel bold and tactile, like inked cardboard cutouts slapped onto the page.

Using Flintstone, you get instant “cartoon stone age” character without needing illustrations to sell the theme. This free font shines on kids’ party invitations, cartoon logos, game titles, YouTube thumbnails, toy packaging, and playful posters. Keep it big and bold for headlines, and pair it with a clean geometric sans serif in smaller text to keep things readable while Flintstone does the storytelling.
