Author's note

Gastada font by Cel Tico Petit is a free eroded display font with letters that look like they’ve been sandblasted by time. Thick, rounded forms are cracked and chipped, creating an organic grunge texture that feels like peeling wall posters or old stencil paint on rough concrete. Despite the distressed surface, the underlying shapes stay bold and readable, so your message still hits hard through all the noise and grit.

Using Gastada, you can give instant attitude to gig posters, skate or streetwear branding, album covers, zines, horror titles, and distressed signage. This free font works beautifully when set large, letting the broken ink patterns really show; pair it with a clean geometric sans for body copy to sharpen the contrast and keep layouts balanced.
