Author's note

Ghost Reverie by David Kerkhoff is a free horror display font shaped by frantic ink smears and a violently uneven outline. Its capitals twist through broad marks, hairline scratches, splatters, and torn edges, with many strokes overshooting the letter bodies and rounded forms crossed by loose diagonal cuts.

Horror posters are its clearest fit, especially when the title needs the same physical menace as slashed or painted artwork. The rough marks also suit extreme-metal album covers, survival-game graphics, and Halloween merchandise, where the stray drips and tangled loops can merge with smoke, scratches, or damaged photography and become part of the artwork itself.
