Author's note

Glyph Basic 1 is a free ancient dingbats font built around simplified Egyptian figures and emblems. The set has a carved, pictographic feel - kneeling deities, standing attendants, a watchful eye, and bird-headed forms reduced to clear outlines that read like signs from a temple wall.

It fits naturally into poster graphics, book jackets, museum materials, event flyers, and game title cards that want an immediately archaic accent. As a free font, it also works well for borders, spot illustrations, chapter openers, or short headline treatments where those ritual silhouettes do the work faster than ornament or texture.
