Author's note

Good Foot font by Jakob Fischer is a free brush script typeface that looks like it’s been scratched onto paper with a half-dry marker. Letters lean forward with a loose, slanted rhythm, and the rough, inky edges keep everything feeling fast, loud, and a little bit messy—in the best way. It has just enough structure to stay readable, but the jittery strokes bring a raw, DIY energy that feels straight out of a notebook margin or gig flyer.

Using Good Foot, you can give zines, gig posters, streetwear graphics, skateboard decks, YouTube thumbnails, and bold social posts that instant hand-made punch. This free font shines when used big and bold, letting the gritty texture show, while body text can be handled by a simple sans or clean grotesk underneath. Try pairing Good Foot for headlines with a neutral sans like Helvetica-style fonts for captions to keep the wildness focused where it matters.
