Gorrister by Caveras and Cliff Modes is a free pixel display font built from stark, rectilinear strokes. Its letters have an early computer-screen look, with squared openings, abrupt corners, and irregular block widths that keep the forms from feeling mechanically uniform. The shapes are blunt and spare.
Game title screens are its clearest setting because the stepped construction recalls low-resolution graphics and feels native to science-fiction or arcade artwork. That same severe geometry can shape music posters and technology branding, and in editorial design it offers specialist magazines a purposeful visual reference to early digital interfaces and computer culture.
