Author's note

Guttural, by Meztone Design, is a free blackletter font with a hard medieval bite. The letters lean on heavy, carved shapes and hooked, blade-like points, giving the caps a rough heraldic rhythm that feels closer to old signage and manuscript headings than to neat modern gothic revival.

It fits poster titles, metal or punk flyers, album covers, game logos, and bar or tattoo branding, where a free font with this much edge can carry the whole mood. Use it for short headlines, title cards, or monogram-style initials when you want dense, interlocking letters that feel cut from iron rather than drawn with a pen.
