Author's note

Helvari Bold Distorted, designed by Fabian Pfeifhofer of Loosy, is a free distorted display font with rough, swollen letterforms. Jagged edges, sharp protrusions, and scratched interior gaps make the lettering resemble cut paper or unruly ink blots.

A gig poster is its strongest setting, especially for punk, noise, or experimental acts. The same ragged shapes suit album covers and rebellious streetwear graphics. Its best use is as lettering that also functions as an illustration, with each word forming a dense, thorny silhouette.
