Author's note

Hey Kids! font by Letters From The Claw is a free human dingbat typeface that feels like it was clipped straight from a grimy underground comic. Each icon is a tiny scene-scratchy ink lines, stiff mid-century poses, and jolts of slapstick violence-that reads more like a story fragment than a symbol. The rough, photocopied texture adds a raw, lo-fi energy that digital vectors rarely capture.

Using Hey Kids!, you can drop instant attitude into zines, gig posters, indie comics, collage artwork, punk flyers, and edgy social graphics. This free font works beautifully as visual punctuation between blocks of text or as standalone illustrations in layouts. For a strong contrast, pair it with a clean geometric sans in small caps and keep Hey Kids! a bit larger so every chaotic little vignette stays legible.
