Higed, designed by Ari Juanda, is a free retro display font with towering, dramatically condensed letterforms. Thick vertical strokes create a dense, poster-like silhouette. Rounded inner corners soften the blocky build.
A concert poster is its most convincing setting, where the narrow letters can form a forceful title across limited width. The same compressed construction suits album covers, club signage, and merchandise aimed at industrial or underground music scenes. Repeated upright columns make the lettering resemble a row of speaker stacks or architectural panels, linking the type directly to bold graphic imagery.
