Author's note

Hurricane SupaDupaSerif font by Xero Harrison is a free grunge script typeface that looks like it was whipped onto the page with a storm-soaked brush. Heavy inky strokes explode into chaotic curls and barbed flourishes, with rough, splattered edges that feel more like graffiti than calligraphy. It has a dark, theatrical energy-dramatic, tangled, and a little dangerous-that instantly pulls the eye and refuses to fade into the background.

Using Hurricane SupaDupaSerif, you can give band logos, horror or thriller posters, underground event flyers, tattoo-inspired art, album covers, and edgy fashion branding a raw, hand-scarred presence. This free font thrives at large sizes where its curls and scratches can breathe; anchor it with a clean, neutral sans serif for supporting text so the wild script can steal the spotlight.
