Author's note

In A Flash font by Walter Velez is a free eroded comic display typeface that crackles with jagged energy. Each letter feels like it’s been slashed out of black paper by lightning-sharp spikes, torn edges, and uneven silhouettes give it a chaotic, hand-drawn charge that jumps off the page. The rough texture keeps it from feeling too polished, so it reads as loud, raw, and a little dangerous.

Using In A Flash, you can slam instant impact into comic book titles, zines, horror posters, Halloween invites, game logos, and loud music artwork. This free font works best at big sizes where its ripped, electric shapes stay clear and punchy. Pair it with a simple condensed sans serif for body copy and let In A Flash handle the shouting in your headlines and wordmarks.
