Author's note

Indiglo, created by Gene Buban of FontStruct, is a free high-contrast display serif with an unusually dense, architectural silhouette. Broad vertical strokes meet hairline joins and flat, sharply cut details, giving the letters a severe fashion-editorial edge. Its forms feel both monumental and compact.

Fashion and music audiences are a natural match for its dramatic scale, making it useful for magazine covers, record sleeves, luxury packaging, and event posters. It is especially convincing in large-scale poster design, where its broad letterforms can function almost like solid, massive blocks of printed architecture.
