Isabella the Catholic by Woodcutter Manero is a free modern Gothic font with jagged blackletter energy and a rough, carved silhouette. The letters lean on sharp diagonals, hooked corners, and narrow inner openings, giving the font a restless medieval voice that feels more street-poster than museum piece.
It fits branding for dark music, craft beverage labels, event flyers, game title cards, and apparel graphics where a few words need bite. As a free font, it also works for chapter openers, cover lines, and monogram-like initials, because the angular rhythm makes short settings feel tense, ceremonial, and a little unruly.
