Author's note

Jagz Italic font by Karen Clemens & Apostrophic Lab is a free modern display typeface. Its hard-leaning slant, sliced counters, and knife-edge terminals give every word a sense of motion, like it’s already mid-sprint. The thick, inky strokes feel solid and mechanical, yet the quirky cutouts keep it playful and unmistakable on the page or screen.

Using Jagz Italic, headlines snap into place with a bold, forward-driving rhythm that’s great for gaming logos, sci-fi posters, music flyers, tech branding, sports graphics, and bold packaging. This free font shines when set large, with plenty of breathing room, and pairs well with a clean, neutral sans serif for smaller supporting text.
