Author's note

Kingthings Embroidery by Kevin King is a free decorative serif font modeled on stitched ornamental lettering. Broad classical forms are edged with rows of bead-like dots, giving the letters the look of embroidered initials on fabric.

An invitation suite is an especially apt setting, since the dotted contours echo handworked borders and monograms. Book covers and craft packaging are equally convincing uses. For sewing shops or heritage textile labels, the recurring stitch motif can become a recognizable part of the brand identity.
