Author's note
KZ SCRAtCHER, created by Kazuyoshi Ishikawa in 1999, is a free scratch-style display font built from frantic hairline marks. Its letters twist through sharp angles, loose loops, and long trailing strokes, resembling quick pen gestures caught before they settle into conventional forms.
Punk music suits its raw marks on posters and album art. In event graphics and merchandise, the fractured handwriting can become part of a noise-rock or underground art concept rather than simply supplying a title.
