Lazy Monk by Mirco Zett is a free distressed medieval blackletter font with a raw inked attack. Its narrow, angular letters rise into sharp peaks and drop into ragged feet. Stray scratches and loose flourishes make the lettering look weathered and unruly.
Its medieval roots and battered finish suit dark fantasy games, horror posters, and underground metal merchandise. It is most convincing on album artwork, where the jagged silhouettes can become part of the illustration itself.
