Author's note

Lemon Fire font by wep is a free decorative display typeface that looks like letters torn from scorched paper and splashed with thick ink. The shapes are ragged, uneven, and slightly swollen at the edges, giving every word a smoky, chaotic energy as if it’s smoldering on the page. Despite the wild texture, the rhythm of the letters holds together, so short phrases stay bold, loud, and easy to catch at a glance.

Using Lemon Fire, this free font shines on horror posters, Halloween invitations, haunted house signage, rock or metal band graphics, game titles, and bold YouTube thumbnails. It works beautifully when set large and tight, letting the inky edges and burnt-looking gaps become the main visual effect. For balance, pair Lemon Fire with a clean, neutral sans serif for body text so the fiery lettering can handle all the drama.
