Author's note

Marquee by Harold Lohner, from 2003, is a free display font built from rows of round marquee bulbs. The dotted forms keep each letter open and sign-like, with curved outlines that echo theater lettering more than plain block shapes.

Marquee suits poster titles, event flyers, storefront signs, logo treatments, invitation headers, and window cards where that bulb-lit rhythm does the visual work at a distance. It also fits theater programs, retro advertising layouts, and simple stage announcements that need a show-card reference without extra ornament.
