Author's note
Mashy Shona is a free distorted display font shaped by a restless, tugged silhouette that makes the lettering feel slightly bent and pulled off balance. Its broad forms and sharp, tapering ends keep the design rooted in serif display lettering, while the irregular curves and nicked edges give it a worn, unsettled rhythm.
That off-kilter shape makes sense on posters, album art, event flyers, book covers, and moody brand headers where a conventional serif would feel too stable. Short titles get the most from it, especially when you want a dark, handmade edge that comes from the warped outline rather than from added texture or effects.
