MasselleAM by Marwan Aridi of Character is a free Celtic initial font modeled on illuminated manuscript lettering. Dense capitals are built from braided knotwork, hooked strokes, and curling plant forms. The decoration fills each letter with a compact, carved silhouette.
Its medieval character suits historical event posters, fantasy game graphics, and heritage branding, where the initials can function as small emblems rather than ordinary lettering. In publishing, it is best suited to ornamental chapter openings.
